Mid Century G Plan Brandon Chest of 4 Drawers in Light Oak. Vintage E Gomme
 
The classic Brandon range was the first to be produced by E Gomme under the G-Plan brand name and was launched in 1953.
 
All Brandon pieces were finished in light oak veneer with the upper drawer recessed slightly into the frame. They took inspiration from Scandinavian design elements which is evident in the geometric shaped solid Oak handles.
 
This handsome chest of drawers is the 4 drawer example from the Brandon range with the top drawer divided into 3 compartments.
 
All of the drawers run smoothly as expected and feature dovetail joints. The drawers are graduating in size and provide excellent storage space. 
 
The striking design was ahead of it's time and this chest of drawers stands as a testament to British Mid Century Modern furniture's timeless appeal and build quality.
